You can say what you wan about Kanye West but you have to admit, he knows how to make an entrance… In anticipation of his upcoming sixth studio album Yeezus, the hip-hop star and Kim Kardashian baby-daddy this week premiered his new music video for first single “New Slaves” on the side of 66 skyscrapers around the world! Tipping fans off with tweets throughout the week, West has been behind a major media blitz that rivals only that of Daft Punk and their equally massive comeback this year!

And the viral campaign hasn’t been without controversy… Screenings across the United States have been shut down, including an attempted guerilla screening at the historic Alamo mission in San Antonio, Texas. However, there were no troubles with a screening down under as “New Slaves” appeared above the Britomart Country Club in Auckland’s Britomart Square on Saturday night.

If this is any indication of what the Yeezus is going to be like, then we should expect some heaps more massive music from Mr. West very soon.
