The 1970s brought us significant cultural change, some of the best music ever created, and Converse decided to make some subtle tweaks to their sneaker line. Advancements to their sneakers weren’t the only thing Converse were up to during the 1970s. To start the decade off right (actually late 1969) the legend himself Chuck Taylor was inducted into the Basketball hall of fame. Chuck was the original player/manager for the Converse All-Stars team in the mid-1920s, as well as contributing to the company as both a salesman and promoter. His namesake shoe was the go-to choice for basketballers for numerous decades and later became a staple casual sneaker. Today the Chuck Taylor All Star is as popular as ever and is available in Black and White in both High and Low top options at Fallen Front.
