Can the New Balance 9060 overtake the fan favourite New Balance 550?
We are so excited to introduce the all-new sneaker from New Balance, the NB 9060. A refined style inspired by the 99X series which expresses warped design elements alongside a bold, futuristic silhouette whilst the brand’s performance running heritage holds this shoe together.
The New Balance 990 was released in the first campaign which featured rapper, Aminé. This shoe utilises some of our favourite components of the NB footwear, whilst repurposing them with a modern, futuristic and space like effect. The shoes feature an extended N logo and celebrate the technology in the 990 series and early running shoe styles like the New Balance 860. The midsole is where things get funky, blown out and warped creating a crazy and unique silhouette when looking at the shoe from all angles.
The New Balance 550 is currently the brand's most popular shoe, we have a feeling this may creep up on it. This shoe is fitted with extremely comfortable cushioning platforms of ABZORB and SBS. A visible tech aesthetic of the Y2K era and a style which is on-going and timeless in our modern world.
The New Balance 9060 comes in multiple seasonal colourways and will be releasing in more to come. At FallenFront we have the two most popular. The fan favourite ‘Sea Salt’ colourway, along with a classic black. The NB 9060 Sea Salt brings soft & warm tones, aligning with the neutral style of modern streetwear. These shoes will rock with anything in your wardrobe.
The 9060 Black is as laid back as it gets from a colour point of view. The colour lets the shoe do the talking. With black footwear on the rise through the likes of Gorp core and hiking aesthetic, these shoes will have you treated in that look. A shoe you don’t have to worry about wrecking or being too gentle with. After all, we really do want to wear these sneakers every single day - why worry about walking over a small patch of grass.
