Veja Campo in Chromefree Leather, White / Black Colourway.

The innovative bovine ChromeFree leather feels smooth and light and arrives from farms located in the South of Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul to be exact. The ChromeFree leather goes through a new tanning process with no chrome, heavy metals, dangerous chemicals or acids used. Veja has simplified the tanning process making acids and energy much more limited in the resources used. This same process reduces the water needed by around 40% and lowers the required salt by 80%. After the entire process of tanning, the water is able to be recycled and re used again for other parts of the production. Every single step of the Vejas process considers the environment, even down to the final detailing touches, using the most premium, 100% organic cotton.

Veja V12 Leather in Extra White.

This classic all white shoe comes with all the Veja quality you have learnt to expect from the sneaker companies’ rich history of sustainable methods, and good eye for tase and style. These Veja shoes sit on a slightly raised sole, often referred as a Cupsole style. The comfortable upper sits on a sole that’s built from Amazonian rubber, rice water, and fully recycled rubber. The all white panels around the toe box add that extra touch of detail to really make this sneaker standout, and of course they finished up the shoe with 100% organic cotton.

Keeping your Vejas in pristine condition is pretty easy with a few basic and hopefully, obvious steps. It might be tempting and easy but shoes really don’t like to go in a washing machine, it causes them to blow out, losing the original shape which they once had. We live in NZ and the winters can get a little wet, as you may know, suede or canvas are not water proof. Brand new from the box we recommend you use a waterproof spray to prolong the life of the shoe, plus this eliminates the possibility of wet socks! Canvas models are pretty low maintenance and can easily be brushed with soap and cold water. Both animal and vegan leathers are easy to care for with a damp cloth or a specific cleaning solution.

We recommend and stock a range of footwear protection and cleaning products from Jason Markk. Considered the best sneaker solution in the streetwear community. Shop our collection of Jason Markk here.
